Beauty emerged from the ashes when AMITA health in Chicago crowned its new chapel with a series of exquisite art glass windows. The chapel had been nearly a total loss because of a fire in December 2014. Though the chapel was rebuilt relatively quickly, the stained glass windows that had been broken took more than four years to replace. The story details the arduous process of funding, creating and installing the replacements. The result is stunning and was worth the wait.
