I fulfilled a lifelong dream recently with the publication of “Celebrating The Musial Awards in St. Louis,” a year-by-year look at the remarkable people and extraordinary stories of sportsmanship honored by the award named for Stan The Man.
The St. Louis Sports Commission asked me to research and write the book, which covers 15 years of honorees for extraordinary acts of kindness, class, excellence, civility and generosity in sports. I was honored to tell each of the stories, humbled by the honorees’ graciousness in sharing them and inspired by their examples.
So, let’s check “Book Author” off the bucket list.
